Introducing Omaha Chiropractor, Dr. Trevor Wagner

Omaha Chiropractor, Dr. Trevor WagnerFrom the time I was an infant, I had suffered with stomach problems. When I was eight years old, I was in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer. Even after the ulcer was healed, I continued to suffer with frequent stomach pains. It wasn't until I was in high school that I was referred to a chiropractor. It didn't take long before I noticed improvement. My pain had almost completely resolved. Nobody could believe that a chiropractor helped my stomach until I explained the mechanism of how the nervous system controls your entire body. (More on this on the website). I decided when I was a junior in high school to become a chiropractor.

I graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1995. I always had an appreciation for science and nature, but it wasn't until I was a student at Cleveland that I began to discover the importance of fitness, nutrition, and true wellness. It was during my years there that I finally gave up smoking and began working out regularly and eating for health.

Our practice centers around the fact that optimum function leads to long-term improvement not only in how a person feels, but also how healthy they will be. Pain and other symptoms are your body's way of letting you know that something is not working right. When a patient comes to our office, we evaluate their function and focus on ways to improve it. This method allows short-term and long-term improvement.

The Wagner FamilyMy wife, Dr. Julie Owen-Wagner and I met in Chiropractic college and have been married for 11 years. We have 3 children, Meredith (10 years old), Nate (8 years old), and Olivia (6 years old).

Because of my wellness-based philosophy, when I'm not at the office, I am spending time "practicing what I preach". I exercise regularly and eat a diet based on the sound principles that we teach at our office. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and children.

Enough about me! How can we help you with today’s safe and natural chiropractic care? Give us a call so we can help you take your first step towards better health.

Dr. Trevor Asks some important questions of interest to Omaha residents - Chiropractor Omaha Dr. Trevor Asks...

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more Omaha folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
Do nerves actually get pinched?
Chiropractors recognize two types of nerve disorders involved in subluxation. The least common is a pinched nerve that diminishes nerve supply to an affected organ or tissue. More common is the irritated nerve (facilitative lesion) which overexcites nerve communications to an affected organ or tissue. Chiropractic care has been shown to help with both types.
